As a small, part-time photography team, we’re able to keep our business personal and our pricing approachable. But affordability never means cutting corners. We put care into every part of the process, from capturing your moments to carefully selecting and editing your final images.

We’re J&L Photography, a two-person photography team based in Rochester, NY.
We started with a shared love for photography and editing, and grew into a desire to create something of our own. We wanted to build a photography business that allowed us to combine our creative interests while giving people an approachable way to invest in professional photography.
As photographers, we both bring our own perspectives and styles to every session. Working as a team allows us to capture moments from different angles and create galleries that feel varied, natural, and complete.
Photography is something we’re passionate about alongside our other careers, which allows us to keep J&L personal and intentional rather than treating every session like a transaction. We genuinely care about the images we deliver and the experience our clients have along the way.
